The Expert Program is designed with the ITIL v2 Service Manager structure in mind

 

Students thoroughly enjoyed as well as feared the Service Manager course. Twelve intensive days in the  classroom, hours of self study and challenging exams. ITIL Expert can achieve the same when combining the Intermediate courses and MALC in a condensed classroom setting

 

The Expert Program characteristics

Not one, but two tracks

  • Lifecycle Track  that includes: Service Strategy (SS), Service Design (SD), Service Transition (ST), Service Operations (SO), Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) and Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC). The Lifecycle Track is for those who provide guidance towards the implementation of ITSM in an organization like IT Managers, Process Owners, ITSM Implementors and ITIL Consultants.

  • Capability Track  that includes: Planning, Protection and Optimization (PPO), Service Offerings and Agreements (SOA), Operational Support & Analysis (OSA), and Release, Control, & Validation (RCV) and Managing Across the lifecycle (MALC). The Capability Track is for those who are involved in executing and improving existing ITIL processes in an organization like Process Managers, Operational Staff, Process Consultants and IT Practitioners.

High energy and high pace classroom

  • Intensive classroom study: Lifecycle (Total 13 days): 5 Intermediate Lifecycle Modules of 2 days each, followed by 3 days for Managing Across the Lifecycle. Capability (Total 15 days): 4 Intermediate Capability Modules of 3 days each, followed by 3 days for Managing Across the Lifecycle.

  • Classroom dedicated to practical application: cases, assignments and scenarios

Self Paced E-learning

  • 50 hours of e-learning for both the Capability and Lifecycle tracks

  • E-learning material available for 2 years after completion of the course

  • E-learning focused at theory, explaining of concepts, exam preparation

  • Instructor is available throughout the program for e-mail based support

Accredited course program

  • Meets all requirements for ITIL Intermediate courses as per ITIL syllabi accredited by APMG

Digital Reference Materials

  • Digital reference material will be provided to students as a digital copy for your laptop (to avoid printing of thousands of pages of course materials). Students also receive printed copies of the course slides and workbook for completing course assignment
